The location of the hotel was perfect for fishing by the river and going on bike rides through the picturesque countryside. The warm welcome we received from the host made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was beautifully designed and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for our family. The delicious breakfast served in the dining room was a great start to our day of adventures.
For dads, it would be great if there was a small play area or games room for children to enjoy during their stay.

The room was super comfortable and mind-blowingly clean, with an immaculate bathroom en-suite. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing jaw-dropping advice. The attached garage ensured our bikes were secure, while off-site car parking was available just around the corner. Despite being on a main road, we didn't notice any noise overnight. The location was perfect for a stopover when traveling longer distances. The breakfast was fantastic, with accommodations made for my early departure. a fantastic stay for our family of four, perfect for our needs.

The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to the center of town and various restaurants within walking distance. The room was immaculate and comfortable, with a cozy fireplace and stunning art deco lights. The hosts were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast spread was delicious, with homemade jam and freshly baked bread.
One downside was the limited breakfast options, as there was no cheese, meat, or fruit available.

Chez Hortense was absolutely fantastic. We really appreciated the warm, kind welcome, spotlessly clean and fantastically designed room and also the location, all of which were perfect for us as a family of 4 traveling back home via Calais, just under 2 hours away. The breakfast was served beautifully in the dining room, with enormous delicious croissants and plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and fruit. We could park free of charge just around the corner and could walk a short distance to the restaurants in the town. Perfect.
Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed at a quaint B&B with WiFi and a lovely terrace. The continental breakfast was divine. Explored tapestries nearby and even tried my hand at fishing and cycling. So invigorating!
Oh, I just adored the fact that they didn't bother telling me the check-in time until I filled out the damn form. Brilliant!
